Who wouldn’t long for a relaxing beach getaway after a series of adventurous summer trips including a scorching trek to Taal Volcano Lake, chasing waterfalls in Laguna, and a risky hike to the monolith of Pico de Loro? I decided to head to Crystal Beach last May 16 for I could not think of any other resort to satisfy my craving to just beach bum, watch the sun rise and set, hear the waves crashing to the shore while I chat or not with my friends, read a book, swing by a hammock, not thinking of any work nor any itinerary. Just plain serene relaxation.
I have visited Crystal Beach many times, at least once or twice a year, the last being June 2015. It’s always a place of refuge for me whenever I need to do a mega reflection or relaxation. Yet this little paradise never fails to surprise me everytime I visit. I got wowed by additional little things that the management added in the beach to increase customer experience. Read along for the 3 short and sweet reasons why I consider Crystal Beach as the best resort there is in Zambales for relaxation.

Relaxing. Despite the scorching summer heat, the beach is full of pine and other trees that provide a cool shade. The sound of the tweeting birds gives you the authentic feel that you’re indeed miles away from the hustling streets of the Metro. Hammocks and swings are also there in case you get bored of the sand to lay on. But who does, right? Wherever you may find to lay your head tempts you to take a nap. We even had a memorable Zootopia movie experience under the moon and trees.
Artsy. Never fail to bring your camera when going to Crystal beach because you will not run out of artsy shots and poses with the nipa huts, logs, swings, chairs, tents, signages and bonfires (at night), or whatever. Even the sunrise and sunset will cooperate with you as they hit the beach in direct opposites. Just be ready to wake up early for the sunrise and stand by in the afternoon for the sunset. The campsites and glamping sites are a real attraction as well.
Clean. I’ve seen cheap beaches in Ph but this is the only one where you will find the cleanest public toilets, with matching tissues! Even if you’re just doing the camping style, you enjoy the benefits of a clean toilet.
Other factors add to the chill feel of this resort like the friendly staff, great food at Solomon’s Hall and safe environment due to roving securities. No wonder this resort was chosen by producers of Pangako Sa’yo Remake with KathNiel and Pabebelove #KiligPaMore 2015 movie of AlDub for their beach scenes.
So before summer officially ends, book a weekend (or weekday) soon to Crystal Beach Resorts, Zambales and you may just find here the break that you need. 🙂
